1 Test Purpose
This test is intend to verify the dust protection capability for outdoor product and electrical automotive.
2 Test Reference Standard
Refer to IEC 60529 2001 Degrees of protection provided by enclosures
3 Test Key Effect
(1) Enclosures sealing ability
(2) Change the electrical performance
(3) Corrosion
(4) Block the vent/filter/operating hole…etc.
(5) Dust accumulation will lead the moisture condensation and promote the corrosion and mucedine grow up.
