Highly Acceleration Life Test (HALT)

     HALT is one of the main methods for reliability enhancement test in the design stage. Apply the stepping stress to the product, and to accelerate and expose design defects and weakness points of the product by exposing the product to gradually increasing Environmental Stress (E.g.: Vibration, Temperature… etc.), Additional Stress (Power supply on and off, Voltage and Frequency deviation…etc.) and Working Stress, determine the operating limit and destruct limit of the product, thus in the short term to provide product improvement. In addition, when this test is performed, the more importantly working is Failure Analysis, only proper analysis can improved the limits of the product really.
